ATARI JONES

Atari Jones X Riff Raff
Atari Jones X Riff Raff

Upcoming Artist out of Cleveland,Ohio

Atari Jones is not your regular rap artist, the new signee to record label Lawless Inc, Atari presents a new wave for all listeners. Starting at a young age, he was into poetry, which in his later teen years formulated into making songs. Gaining a lot of internet attention and "overseas love" Atari Jones stands out among many. One of his biggest hits being with Tel Aviv producer, Yarin Lidor, to a Miguel remix of the girl with that tattoo also sampled by the party next door, and another hit being with selection producer, Sango, which is an original remix, is what spiraled him into internet popularity. Atari is sure to make a big impression on the music world.
Life is what really inspires me, Sure I like others people's things/sounds, perspectives, but it's your own authenticity that will take you far, so I draw from my own to inspire others. What inspired me to start music was poetry, my uncle, and my aunt would get me hip to different sounds and genres, and I thought I would be a dope idea to add my poetry to music and flow how the music they played me did, does. The last question is a little hard to answer as my mind is so complex and filled with things, but I want to change the world, make them see things they aren't used to or a different perspective through my creativity. I'll be heading on tour in the Czech Republic during August with other artists such as Cheif Keef, Joyner Lucas, Devin the dude, young Ma, right before my first cameo in a movie will air, the movie includes Matthew McConaughey (however you spell his name lol) Bruce Dern, Danny Brown, RJ cycler, YG, Jennifer Jason Leigh and many other talented faces. Also am working on my women are art Series, which empowers women in an artistic sensual light while showing them off as art, I'm working with magazines such as dream angel magazine, x25fitness magazine, and SoBeIt Magazine, to express my other forms of creativity, this being an aesthetic photo Series mixed with actual collaborations between different photographers and models. I have people in my corner, such as a manager and distribution deal, but i like to call myself a one-man band as I make sure and oversee everything that happens about and around me I handle my own marketing and almost everything else that's made me who I am today, just did research and took my career into my own hands, that and the help from God giving me these gifts.

Chucky Cash

So my name is Chucky Cash, also known as (sh*tbagshawty). I'm from the South side of Chicago. Music has always been my life since I was a snot nose. I remember being 3 years old standing on my aunt's table rapping Master P. My music just comes from the soul. Life is art to me. Every day I see so much and I just think of it all as art I have been inspired by Biggie Smalls, Curren$y (oh God curren$y), Sosa (Chief Keef) G herbo, Dave East, Guru from Gangstarr, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, A$AP mob (they really set the whole wave for my generation), Hype Williams, Pharrell, and Lucki. I'm inspired by so much and so many people. Even the artist in this generation of music. Not just hip- hop but all genres of music. My struggles are just everyday people problems. I go through the same difficulties as any other human goes through. I'm currently working on my tape, "Honestly... Life's Good" it's just a body of art. I can't even give it a specific sound I just want it to be real and give people the real me. A story that needs to be told.

I'd say I differ from other artists by my delivery. It's not what I say it's how I say it. I say the same thing as other rappers but the way I say it and state what I say I come across is different. My music will actually get you lit and give you energy rather than listening to someone saying the same stuff but it doesn't effect you. Most of these rappers are boring and you are just listening to words rather than hearing them and it giving you a feeling and change your mood. I'd like to say my music changes the mood in the room no matter where you at . I think that's what makes me stand out the most. My music is like more in your face whether it be my beats or lyrics however I'm not in your face when you hear it . I also feel like my like my look makes me stand out. I'm a 5'11 multi cultured with long curly hair. How would I not stand out? I've always wanted to rap ever since I was a kid just never felt like I could. Every time I wanted to rap or freestyle the people around me never would want to. I never realized I was good at rapping until my freshman year of college me and my roommates would smoke and freestyle a lot. That's when I noticed I had talent. One of my friends noticed that I could be a rapper because I have the look, personality , have a good flow and Im pretty local so I just decided to say fuck it and let's see if people really fuck with me and they did so I just kept it going. My aspiration in life is to at least get known in Texas by 21, by 22 headlining shows and by 23 become a XXL freshman. If all of that doesn't work out then I'm going to have my own talk show interviewing artists like Adam22 and if worst comes to it then I'm being a teacher. Growing up I never really had to struggle. My parents have stayed together my whole life I'm the youngest out of three, I have two older brothers. I played football, swan and played water polo. I never really got into trouble as a child because my dad always told me to think about my actions before I actually do something. He also instilled in me early that everything has a reward and consequences so to choose what I do wisely. So I never really had to go through your typical rapper struggle because I'm not stupid and never did stupid things to get me caught up. The people that influenced me to start rapping was Tyler the creator and odd future because it was really just a group of friends that made music and turned up together on stage! They just raged and I've always had dreams of doing that. Just having a show with thousands people and have all my homies on stage with me just turning up and getting the crowd lit.

GetMoneyPat

Well honestly, I never had it easy. Since a kid I always had to be the one to step up ever since my Father died in front my face. I had every excuse to run to the streets and get it how I live, but I have sisters. I still had anger Inside me but I had to release my anger in a different way, and that was music. Sometimes, I feel like music is my real escape. I can express how I feel and I can hear my pain. People who relate can feel my pain, and they motivate me to keep pushing. I was always surrounded by music, since before high school I was in tune with the drums. Being in the band taught me how to control my music, everything has its own tune, and I became obsessed with just hearing music. My aspirations in life is to honestly become stable enough to where I can help my sister get into college , and all of my other sisters, I want to be able to provide everything for her so they have no reason to get it from someone else. I'm not happy working 9-5, I'm just using this for studio time. Everything has a path and I'm on my way to the top because I will be able to show my family another way, this world is a corrupt and music the only thing that's bringing us together no matter what type of music it is , it's the only way we can relate to each other .I'm a guy who just trying to stay on a good path. I can't fall short because I'm going through the struggle. Who else gone show the way. I feel like I'm the last hope sometimes and even I want to give up , but if I give up then my sisters gone give up , then my mom gone give up, everybody gone give up . That's how I feel. Music is my obsession . It's what I want to do for the rest of my life. Nothing else make me happier because when I'm in the boot, it's like it all or nothing .. So I give it my all.

HurriKane Kolby

Okay so first, I want to start off by introducing my self. My name is HurriKane Kolby. Wit a k not a c, if it's a c it ain't me. My name came from my high school football team. One of my OGs called me hurricane like hurricane Chris because of my hair. I just kind of kept it to myself and always thought if I started a name for anything whether it's my rapping or my dancing career. I'd stick to that name just switch up a few letters... but I really wasn't a rapper like that I didn't start rapping till freshman year at Texas Southern University. Back then I had a little influence from my sister that said, "you can be better than Romeo and Bow Wow mixed with Chris Brown," cause I dance too. But freshman year, I met up with my bro Josh, he had been doing this all his life, and kinda got me into it a little more. As a kid I'd say a few bars to myself, nothing "write down worthy" but yeah. He would always show me his rhymes, and freestyle in front of me and I kinda just hopped on a beat with him. Josh would tell me.. "Ni**a you low key good why don't you write?" And I'll be like sh*t ion rap Ni**a.." But, as days and weeks passed by I actually started jotting down lyrics with my other roommates Chris (Curly Sue) and 12. From there kinda got the ball rolling.. sophomore year.. I met a guy, Mook Ali, he showed me how cold he was and how he has also been doing this ALL HIS LIFE as well. By that time I would say I got my feet a little wet with writing and free-styling; more so writing. He told me "Ni**a you cold you need to write." So with that bit more of motivation from him, at that point I'm like yeah, I can do this. So I started to practice more and more, and ended up making songs left and right like I been doing this thing.  But, my goal as a rapper/ influencer would be to make relatable good quality ass music nothing like what we hear now: backpack rapping, hype rap, however it comes out. But, as long as it's real sh*t, and emphasizes on real sh*t, I don't put it in a song unless I'm really living it. You'd never know who's going through that same experience as another person; and if you are, I want you to relate, and  be like "damn bro.. I feel you on a super spiritual level." I feel like that's what would make me different from what we hear now, I'm a college student going through college stuff like any other college student; so it would be music about that. Just like my favorite rapper SchoolboyQ, He bounced from college to college steady getting some kind of education. But another difference with me is that I'm going finish college. A professor at TxSU actually said, "if you are a rapper you HAVE to drop out." I'm just like no you don't, and imma show you. So that's where a my drive is coming from for the most part, to be different than most. Not a college drop out like Kanye and every other big artist, I'm going to be a young artist while in college, while getting my degree. Imma rap cause I know I can, and I'm not letting a soul tell me otherwise.

MOOK ALI

"Mook Ali is a 21 year old artist from West Baltimore Maryland, currently living in Houston.

I grew up watching all my cousins succeed in sports but I had anger problems and kinda wasn't good at sh*t else but rapping so I just kept doing that and became who I am. I never rapped to be like anybody else or create some new image, I literally just couldn't relate to half the sh*t I heard on the radio and decided to make something I could relate to. In all honestly I feel like there is nobody in the world who's a better lyrical artist than me. My goal is to get to a point where I no longer have to prove that. My ultimate goal though is just to be happy. I grew up stressed than ah muhfucka, experiencing sh*t a young kid should honestly never have to experience; So at this point I just want to be happy and keep my family and my n*ggas happy.
